Welcome Akl1049 to Friends of the Mountain Dulcimer. This is a great community of people who love the dulcimer. So glad you joined. Congrats on receiving the handmade walnut dulcimer. That's a great brother you have. Don't be shy. Post comments, ask questions. There is a lot of experience and knowledge here and people are willing to share. Best wishes on your dulcimer journey.

Yes, we visited the Museum of Art and the American Banjo Museum in Oklahoma City. Then we went on to Tulsa to the Woody Guthrie Center. Also met one of your Highway Patrol who stopped me because I headlight out on the driver's side of my van. I didn't realize it as it was on the night before and it was still daylight when he stopped us. I would have figured it out when we got to the motel. It was just a warning and I had a new one put in at AutoZone. He was a very nice young man.

Hi Akl1049, and welcome to the wonderful world of the Friends of the Mountain Dulcimer.  It's a good place to come, spend some time, learn about the dulcimer, and to meet some good people.

Welcome to FOTMD Akl1049. It is good to have you aboard. I enjoyed a drive across your state back in the Fall season.
