Patty, from DAd drop your A string down to G and you'll be fine. Yep, Pam, the Mawhee will be fine in the normal tuning. Hope y'all enjoy.

Whoops, I noticed you mentioned your Mawhee. You may be able to tune to that high g. Best check with Kevin first.

Pam, the tab says DGD. I can't do the high g either or I'll get a sudden pop noise and loose string, lolGrin.gif

I had so much fun tabbing and playing "Drive the Cold Winter Away," I decided to examine Playford a little more closely. Here's a fun tune, Maiden Lane. Tune to GDg and grab a noter or get your fingers limbered up and strum. These old tunes sound really nice with the drones the dulcimer so graciously provides.
