I just want to say a very belated "welcome" to Lawrence, and also tell Jennifer that I'm very happy you are enjoying the Fellenbaum. It really is a lovely instrument. :)
I'm loving the Fellenbaum! It has the easiest action of any dulcimer I've ever played. I bought a bowed psaltery a few months ago, myself! It's fun to play around with, but kind of hurts my ears, lol. I think I'd like a baritone better.
Greetings from Vermont Lawrence and welcome to the site. You go with noter/drone - I just love it. Many of the clubs are strictly DAd so it's refreshing to hear someone say that's what they want to do. All my kin hail from South Carolina - you may go down Wigington Road there! Enjoy the site.
Hi Lawrence, and welcome to the wonderful world of the Friends of the Mountain Dulcimer. It's a good place to come, spend some time, learn about the dulcimer, and to meet some good people.
