Hi Marcia,

Oh it's fun to think about a new dulcimer!  Not sure if you saw my post the other day.......

How many dulcimers does a dulcimer player need???  Just one more  happydance

Good luck in your search - I am sure you will find another wonderful instrument to love!

I thought I would tell you - My Bill Taylor dulcimer is made of cherry and maple, and my McSpadden baritone is cherry with a redwood top.  Both have such a warm sweet sound.

Just something for you to check out!

Hi Marcia,

It looks like you've been around here for a while.  Do you have dulcimer?  Have you been playing?  Just wondering, and hoping you are playing and enjoying this musical magical journey dulcimer

Hi Marcia, and welcome to the wonderful world of the Friends of the Mountain Dulcimer. It's a good place to come, spend some time, learn about the dulcimer, and to meet some good people.
