Hi Ron, Welcome to the site. You will find that this is a great bunch of people who are very helpful. If you have any question about the mountain dulcimer someone here will know the answer - so don't hesitate to ask. Also, I welcome you as a fellow Michigander. I live in Cadillac (northwest of you). I just started playing a month ago so am a newbie. I didn't get started soon enough to have even heard about the Midland Dulcimer Festival. Something I will consider for next year. If you should look at my two videos, I am working through the book "You Can Teach Yourself Dulcimer" that came with CD and DVD. I highly recommend it because you can see exactly what she is doing. Anyway, welcome!
HI Ron, and welcome to the world of the Friends of the Mountain Dulcimer. It's a good place to come, spend some time, learn about the dulcimer, and to meet some good people.
Welcome, Ron, to this little corner of dulcimer heaven. If you need help, just ask. I'm sure a lot of the good folks here will give you their 2 cents worth of advice. Hope you enjoy it here.
