My Second Dulcimer (Burly Maple)

I knew working with burly maple was going to be a challenge and it definitely is!  The wild grain structure, leading to brittleness in some area, is challenging my optimism.  Bending the sides required going a bit thicker, 3/16", and cutting the sound holes is requiring backing reinforcements.  Of course the complexity of the sound hole design is not helping things..
