Tignor replacment dowel?

Seller sent me a pic of a Tignor tail end.  It does not look like the simple dowel that I have seen in other pics.  This, in addition to another thing or two, seems a bit off.  Was wondering if any Tignor owners, previous Tignor owners, or knowledgeable folk would want to comment.  Thanks!
