I really like the figured Spanish Cedar. The leaves are inlaid and the vines were put in using a wood burner.
Well deserved! The matched wood grain is exquisite and I love the delicate vine painting around the sound holes.
I entered this dulcimer in the Woodworking Shows in Indianapolis. It won a blue ribbon, the People's Choice Award, and the Educator's Choice Award.
This past weekend The Woodworking Shows was in Indianapolis. They had a project showcase and I entered this dulcimer in it. There were 10 projects in all. The dulcimer won 1st place in its class, the Peoples Choice Award, and the Educators Award. The peoples choice resulted from attendees voting for their favorite project and the educators award was from the men who led the seminars and workshops over the weekend.
Where didi all the ribbons come?
