He's very patient and focuses very well on details. I know your compliments will sure give him some enthusiasm for new projects with dad- thanks Greg
If it was my dulcimer that he helped build, he did a wonderful job. It sounds as good as it looks. Young Christian has a future as a luthier. And what a great way for father and son to spend quality time together.
Bob, is that dulcimer #40 (Walnut/Butternut) that is enjoying its new home in Michigan or a new one that you and Christian are currently building?
Hi Greg- I think it may have been your very own dulcimer! (I cant recall exactly- I had a few of them in the making at the time). He did a great job, as I thought he would :-)
"Bob & Son Dulcimers"!
Wouldn't that be awesome!!
Hi Irene, yes, those little clothes clips are great for this process. Just the right size- and from the Dollar Store :-)
Thanks also for the suggestion about a Dulcimer Making school. I don't think I am close to that stage (yet)!
what a handsome young apprentice. and yeah, I was wondering what I'd do with those DARLING CLOTHS PINS a daughter brought back with her from Europe. Not gonna be used for cloths, but in the shop. You know Bob, you could have a school for dulcimer making. think on that will ya. aloha, irene
