Your books were ready to go out this morning, but I forgot it was a holiday so they'll be on their way tomorrow. Look for them in a couple of days! Many thanks, and happy strumming!
So nice to hear from you, Bonnie, and I'm glad you're enjoying the classical arrangements we did together. I'm not able to come to the Albany festival in March, but I will be teaching at the Cranberry festival again, so I hope to see you there.
All the best -
Hi Bonnie. Sounds like you're from a musical family and are having fun both playing and sharing your music. That is great. I haven't made any instruments for about a year now (I'll be 84 next month and I've finally slowed down a bit). I think I'll start a new one when the weather warms up a bit. I've sold a few of mine but most have been given to family members. I've only been involved with dulcimers going on ten years, but I've had a wonderful time going to festivals and spreading what little I know around. Hope you're having as much fun as I've had. Best wishes to you and yours.
Glad to hear you are enjoying your new dulcimer Bonnie. I think you will find this site very helpful.
Hi Bonnie. You're right, this is a friendly and knowledgeable place. Another very helpful place is Lisa's other site "Mountain Dulcimer Noter-drone Blog" Tons of good info here. There is a link to it at the bottom of the right hand column here. Best wishes to you and yours.
Welcome Bonnie. Good to see you here on FOTMD. We look forward to your participation. Best wishes.
Welcome to FOTMD Bonnie. It's good to have you aboard.
"The dulcimer sings a sweet song."
Hey Bonnie, welcome aboard. Glad ya found us.
Howdy and welcome to the FOTMD family!
Hi Bonnie, and welcome to the wonderful world of the Friends of the Mountain Dulcimer. It's a good place to come, spend some time, learn about the dulcimer, and to meet some good people.
Welcome, Bonnie, to this little corner of dulcimer heaven. Hope you enjoy it here.
