I just wanted to say I saw you were a Featured Member on top of the Member page. Not sure how one is listed there but wanted to say, 'good going'
Hi! Sorry it took so long to respond to your request, but have not been on here for a while. I work for an accounting firm, so tax season keeps me from the things I love. It will be over soon though!
I am glad to be your friend!
Always a pleasure to find someone playing in a very direct style.
Hi Chris. Thanks for the friend request. Our ancesters are from England and Ireland and one of our daughters got to visit there this past summer. I've never made it over but always wanted to. Hope everything is going well with you and that your dulcimer build is finished soon. I built my first one in 2004. It is such a thrill to me when I string one up and hear its voice for the first time. Best wishes.
Sharing is how welearn and "pass forward" the help we've gotten in the past.
Hello and welcome to the site. This is a great place to share ideas and listen to music. I hope you enjoy!
Thanks for listening to Blanchard Springs and I'm glad you enjoyed it. Maybe you can visit there soon, it is really beautiful!

Hi Christopher, and welcome to the world of the Friends of the Mountain Dulcimer. It's a good place to come, spend some time, learn about the dulcimer, and to meet some good people.
Hello there Christopher, a welcome to you from the UK/European group within FOTMD, glad to have you here with us (you might want to join our little sub group?). There are some fine dulcimer players in Ireland, here's hoping you join their ranks !!!
Howdy and welcome to the FOTMD crew!
