This is simply the best dulcimer I've ever played. It is loud and responsive and works well in all the tunings I use, partly done to the design but significanlty due to the fact that it's ultra light wight. Consequently, it is very well travelled and used on my recordings extensively. The general shape and tapered design is taken from Stephan Sobel's intruments but who stopped making dulcimers. So it was built by a luthier, now in Cornwall called Martin Cole. His logo was lost when the instrument was refinished in gun oil. It originailly had a sunburst finish, which needed tidying up and whihc diod not suit my classical style. @rob-n-lackey
Who made this one, Dan? It's a beauty too.
