Deborah--I haven't been on here much, lately, and just noticed you had joined! Welcome! I think it's great that our dulcimer paths have crossed and I'm looking forward to meeting up with you and some of your dulcimer buddies in your area at the end of April. Feel free to ask me--or anyone else on this site--any questions you have about anything and we'll all try to help! If there's anyone you want to send a private message to, you'll need to look them up on the members' list and then go to their profile page and click their "Follow" button. Then they'll get a message that you want to connect with them and they'll go to your page and click your "follow" button and after that you two can message back and forth.
Is that a Berg dulcimer? I have one and will be playing it tomorrow at the Woodlands Waterway Festival, it's an art fest but the dulcimer group I play with was asked to preform. I use to live in Bowling Green, KY but now I am just north of Houston.
I wish you a happy dulcimer adventure & welcome to the site.

Hi Deborah, and welcome to the wonderful world of the Friends of the Mountain Dulcimer. It's a good place to come, spend some time, learn about the dulcimer, and to meet some good people.
