Hi Diana. If you haven't already, you might check out the "Dulcimer Making" group here for some tips on building. I've built a few and there is nothing more satisfying than stringing up a new dulcimer and hearing it's voice for the first time. (although, every once in a while, I've beenslightly disappointed) Best wishes to you and yours.

Welcome, Diana, to this little corner of dulcimer heaven. Relax with the dulcimer? Absolutely! You'll find tunes you know and new tunes to learn and once you "get" them you'll love how relaxed you'll play them. Hope you enjoy it here.

Hi Diana, and welcome to the wonderful world of the Friends of the Mountain Dulcimer. It's a good place to come, spend some time, learn about the dulcimer, and to meet some good people.
