It is always very interesting to hear different versions of one and the same tune - thus it shows the variety a tune can have regarding its character, mood, tempo, sound, articulation etc.

You did a very well-made version of Robin's and Mark's original, Dean!

Great piece and sounnding dulcimer. Watching how you do those bar chords excites me. You’ve encouraged me to try it since I now have a radius fretboard my wonky fingers can now do that on. That would be nice sometimes instead of the three finger ones.

...We love the new voicings he uses to give the tune a unique sound, making the tune his own.

This is such a fun tune and there are a thousand ways to go with it but your original is the one that captures the heart.

Brad...used to attend my local dulcimer group here in Cal before he moved to Colorado.  He's good people.

When I first purchased this dulcimer, the pickup was really weak but I recorded Nutfactory Shuffle without the pickup and it still sounded fantastic.

Later I discovered that the pickup had probably come ajar under the bridge during shipping and once I replaced the strings and repositioned the pickup, it worked like a champ. Unfortunately Etsy would not allow me to change my review. Weird policies I guess.

Thanks for the encouragement, Dusty!

Markie & me are both honored and impressed by what Dean does with this little tune!  We love the new voicings he uses to give the tune a unique sound, making the tune his own.

Thanks, @Elvensong!

Elvensong, that's some wonderful playing there.  Nice job!  @Robin-Thompson and Mark would be honored and impressed, I'm sure.  I'm also delighted to see one of Brad's dulcimers in action. He used to attend my local dulcimer group here in Cal before he moved to Colorado.  He's good people.
