Hi! My voice teacher and I both have dulcimers but have not played much yet.  One song that I am learning to sing is "Drink to me only with Thine Eyes" and I was wondering if you had it written in TAB?  My teacher reads music very well but does not quite understand that not all the piano keys are available on a particular tuning for a dulcimer.  I can play TAB but have not gotten to the place where I can change a piano piece to TAB.  I would appreciate any suggestions or information you can give me!  Thanks!

Thats a fun idea Gayle. Might need to beep a few words out here and there on some takes. I did not know there was a place in the States called Cadillac. That is so cool. Thanks for watching my vid.

Gayle, did you play both parts of John Barleycorn? It sounds really nice!

Hi Gayle, Ms Richie did a song called Hop High Ladies, which I enjoy playing. It has great lyrics for a singalong. The tune however is an old Scottish tune called Miss McLeod of Rassay. It is a very popular fiddle tune generally played in a set with tunes like Soldiers Joy. Try them both on your dulcimer, they sound great. Real toe tappers. A' the best.

Hi Gayle, thanks for the friend invite. Edinburgh is a beautiful city ay any time of the year and so long as you have an umbrella and warm jacket you would enjoy it. At this time of year it is festival time and the population more than doubles. Still not many people mind you. The city is more like a collection of ancient villages each with it's own personality. I love it.

Hi Gayle, sorry I didn't get back to you sooner. I work a crazy shift and I was napping this evening before coming to work at midnight. Hope you get settled in to FOTMD. If you need any help, if I can help you find anything, just holler. It's a pretty big site and growing every day ... but the folks just couldn't be any better.

See you around the boards .....
