I just want to say a very belated "welcome" to Lawrence, and also tell Jennifer that I'm very happy you are enjoying the Fellenbaum. It really is a lovely instrument. :)
I'm loving the Fellenbaum! It has the easiest action of any dulcimer I've ever played. I bought a bowed psaltery a few months ago, myself! It's fun to play around with, but kind of hurts my ears, lol. I think I'd like a baritone better.
Lawrence thank you - have fun with N/D (noter drone).
Greetings from Vermont Lawrence and welcome to the site. You go with noter/drone - I just love it. Many of the clubs are strictly DAd so it's refreshing to hear someone say that's what they want to do. All my kin hail from South Carolina - you may go down Wigington Road there! Enjoy the site.
Lots to explore and enjoy here Lawrence- hope you like it as much as we do!
I appreciate the warm welcome, Ben! Seems like an awful lot of good folks and good info here. I'm sure I'll enjoy the site.
Thanks for the welcome, Rob! Seems like right personable folks on this board. I'm sure I'll enjoy my stay. Happy strumming!
Welcome to FOTMD Lawrence. It's good to have you aboard.
"The dulcimer sings a sweet song."
Welcome, Lawrence, to this little corner of dulcimer heaven. Hope you enjoy it here.
Hey Lawrence, welcome aboard. Glad ya found us.
Hi Lawrence, and welcome to the wonderful world of the Friends of the Mountain Dulcimer. It's a good place to come, spend some time, learn about the dulcimer, and to meet some good people.
