Hi MaryAnn , I also play guitar in open tunings mostly open D ,I also play the banjo .. just a little , but am in the process of building a M/D I have never played one , but when I do ,was wondering what tuning would go with open D or G etc , I surpose I should wait and experiment just thought you may have some thoughts , thanks MaryAnn .

Hi MaryAnn, and welcome to the wonderful world of the Friends of the Mountain Dulcimer. It's a good place to come, spend some time, learn about the dulcimer, and to meet some good people. At the top of the page is a heading for groups. There is a drop-down menu which will lead you to the UK/European Group listing.
