Mi ero perso il cambio di piattaforma. Arieccomi :)
Hello Matteo, I notice that you may be interested in making a case for your new baby !!! If you search thro' the videos I have posted on this site you will find one showing how I make cases, may be of interest to you? I should be able post a link for you, but to my shame I still cannot manage it
This looks interesting, thank you for posting
Hope your dulcimer comes soon and you enjoy it's sweet sound.
Matteo, I think you'd be happy with a very basic Lynch student model as your first dulcimer...and in the future you can trade it in for a discount on a new fancier model. One of my very BEST dulcimers is my David Lynch cherry teardrop. It looks and sounds beautiful and is easy to play. I usually fingerpick and this one has a low action (the strings are very close to the frets so you don't have to press down on the strings very hard). The VSL (vibrating string length) is 25.5 inches which makes it easy to play chords. Sorry, but mine isn't for sale. Good luck finding your dulcimer, though. (My first dulcimer was made out of cardboard!) Welcome to FOTMD!
If you like "French" dance tunes - and you get your dulcimer soon - you might like to try the following dance classics, tabbed out for mountain dulcimer tuned DGD or DAD.
Howdy and welcome to FOTMD!
Hey Matteo, welcome aboard. Glad ya found us.
Hi Matteo, and welcome to the wonderful world of the Friends of the Mountain Dulcimer. It's a good place to come, spend some time, learn about the dulcimer, and to meet some good people. At the top of the page is a Group heading, which is a drop-down menu that includes a listing for UK/European Group that you can join.
Welcome, Matteo, to this little corner of dulcimer heaven. Hope you enjoy it here.
