Welcome to the site Michael. The one group here in Vermont is not a beginner's group either. I recommend contacting the different clubs. The one here in Vermont gave me an hour start before the club met. I had gotten a book and gotten the drift, was tuned up and so forth. I'd be shocked if they wouldn't all help you get started. I'd contact them all and see if you can come observe. You'll learn a lot, and I'm sure a bit at a time they'll get you started. Good luck.
Howdy and welcome to FOTMD!
Hi Michael, and welcome to the wonderful world of the Friends of the Mountain Dulcimer. It's a good place to come, spend some time, learn about the dulcimer, and to meet some good people.
Welcome to FOTMD Michael. It's good to have you aboard.
