Norm,

I started last Februaryand have been hitting it hard ever since. I was up at Evart and took Stephen's classes last year. It looks like it will be a repeat, so I have chosen not to sign up again this year; however you will be glad you did. He will give you a link at the end of the seminarthat will cover everything that he taught for future review. Istayed for the entire Evart Festival last year and hopefully will be able to attend this year. Bob and I took a little trip to Tennessee and North Carolina last month and I was able to attend the Mid-Winter Festival in North Carolina and really had fun. You will soon find if you haven't already that Mountain Dulcimer people are the nicest, friendliness and most helpful people on the face of the earth. If there is anything I can help you with just email me.

Sheri

Norm,

I just received notice that you have joined the group - welcome. What a small world, don't know if you remember either of us but I married Bob Poel and my maiden name was Sheri Halverson. Smile.gif

Hi Norm, and welcome to the wonderful world of the Friends of the Mountain Dulcimer. It's a good place to come, spend some time, learn about the dulcimer, and to meet some good people.

Welcome, Norm, to this little corner of dulcimer heaven. I believe more people heard their first dulcimer (that they knew of) in Mt View. It's a haven for old time music that's for sure. Hope you enjoy it here.
