Hi Caroline and Bob - Great to see you at the museum - thanks for your comments
Thanks for the note Bob, it was great that you both made it, and seemed to fit in so well !
As has been said before, lots of info here if you look for it, particularly as you are keen to play noter/drone ? Have a troll thro' the videos, Robin from Birdrock, and myself, with many others, have stuff posted that is relatively easy to follow, sing out if you have questions ! You have a good instrument to work with, not everyone is so lucky !!
regards to C.
It was a pleasure seeing you and Caroline on Sunday. Glad you enjoyed it. Sorry we couldn't spend a little more time showing you the ropes, but I'm sure you got the basics.
Give it a try for a few weeks and come back and see us again. Also, get onto my website and download a few of the beginner pieces to explore.
And yes, get your wife on board as well. Nothing like a bit of intra-family rivalry to spur performance!
All the best. Geoff
Welcome Robert. Good to see you here on FOTMD. We look forward to your participation. Best wishes.
Welcome to FOTMD Robert. It's good to have you aboard.

Hi Robert, and welcome to the wonderful world of the Friends of the Mountain Dulcimer. It's a good place to come, spend some time, learn about the dulcimer, and to meet some good people.
Welcome, Robert, to this little corner of dulcimer heaven. Robin is a great noter player, and so is John Henry! You can learn a lot from them and others. Hope you enjoy it here.
Howdy and welcome to FOTMD!
Should have said pm me for details re Sunday, sorry
