One of Mark's great-uncles was killed 110 years ago (last October) in the mine-- he was around twenty years old-- when he slipped off the chains between the ponies and the car and the car was pulled over him. So many sad stories. Mark's grandpas mined and they didn't want any of their sons to go into the mines and none did.
