I sang Bass in Sweet Adeline's women's barbershop chorus for 25 years.
I play a little mountain & hammer dulcimer.
I play a little more banjo & guitar.
I also play clarinet and Baritone Sax in a "for fun" jazz band.
"Jane of all trades, Master of none" sums me up pretty good.
In real life, I am retired after 34 years Elementary and Pre Kindergarten classroom assistant. I occasionally visit and do music and story programs.
I'm from Sallisaw and went to school in Shawnee at OBU.
Welcome, Sng4prt, to this little corner of dulcimer heaven. I used to hang out in Earlsboro some in the mid 70s. The Harbor Club at the Holiday Harbor Motel there by the interstate was a happening place. lol. Hope you enjoy it here.

Greetings from Vermont Snug and welcome to the site. You cracked me up with the reason you joined. I'm always amazed at all that's going on here, and find the daily videos and sound clips a great joy. You're a great addition, thanks for joining.
Welcome to FOTMD, Sng4prt. It's good to have you aboard.

"The dulcimer sings a sweet song."
Hi Sng4, and welcome to the wonderful world of the Friends of the Mountain Dulcimer. It's a good place to come, spend some time, learn about the dulcimer, and to meet some good people.
