Oh Shenandoah, February2015 "challenge", note

Since I did a challenge of people to post different versions of Amazing Grace last Sunday, and people participated, decided to do a first Sunday of the month challenge. Part of it was the wonderful response from assorted people doing different versions of the same tune, putting there own spin on it. As well, someone commented what about next month? so I started to think it could become a monthly thing. So the first Sunday of each month will be the date, and I will make sure that I post which song so people have plenty of time to work on the song, and iron out the kinks.

For February, decided to go with the folk song Oh Shenandoah. It would be wonderful to hear and see as many different versions of that song, from noter/drone, to chord/melody to fingerpicking. We can post in the videos section, so that way people could see them if they don't know this group exists (I didn't, and I'd been a member of this site since Lisa started it years ago.) I'll bump this thread up a couple days before-hand to make sure people remember.
