Sometimes its just needed to eat something nice ;-)
Dont worry, weight goes up but it goes down again too and Apfelstrudel with Radler is a good choice for a cheatday ;-)

I had 2 cheatdays now, one full of everything i want and another one with eating but not eating to much ...
... and i am up to 130 kg, i gained 5kg in only 2 days ....anyway i dont worry because in a week or earlier it will be under 125 kg and than soon on 120 and lower, .... thats for sure

Today i got the date for a comming up Hospitalstay .... next week i will be "away" for 8 weeks.
I may be much less times online. Maybe not at all, ... and i will slow down my diet .... cant to this extreme one there, .... but i will ride my bike very often,.... when i am back ... i will be under 110 kg i hope, with that i would be happy, with less weight even happier ;-) I will report, see you than

Today i was down to 125 kg :-)

So i allowed myself to have a cheatday and we had a barbecue with lots of grilled vegetables and at the end some grilled bananas with honey. Ok some meat we had too ;-)

Next goal is <-120 kg.

Sounds logical but my Doc told me to drink less, because i was drinking up to 7 liters in a day.
I should drink not more than 3-4 liters each day.

And it was hard for me to drink so little. I would love ro drink more again but i think this isnt the reason. Got to see my Doc next week anyway and i will ask about possible reasons for this unexpected attack.

Good luck its not a strong attack. I remember the first time when i wasnt able to walk at all anymore untill i did get the colchicine.

Thank you for the hint.
I take Medicine against Gout and if i dont drink to much alcohol, i have no Problems, normaly.
In case i do get a gout attack i take colchicin and it helps quickly.
Why i have 2 attacks in such a short time, i dont understand, ....

Anyway Black Cherry, i will check it out

Yesterday i could not ride my bike.
And today i cant because of the gout is back.

But i will start with HASFIT today.
I will do either bike or HASFIT every day or both, i will see how i feel each day and decide than.

UPDATE: My weight is now 128,9 Kg. Last time i wrote about it, it was still over 135 kg. Next goal ist comming under 125 kg. That will be soon ;-) I guess in a week. Than i allow myself to have a "cheatday"

Thats true.
And i am taking the chance to find the way between those extremes.

I remember how it was with 178 kg, just leaving the house made me be exhausted and completely out of air. I hade to wait before i was able to put on the safetybelts in the car. My heart did feel like it want to burst, i think i was close to get a heart attack or a stroke. I was so unfitt, taking a shower was nearly unpossible or just putting on socks was a terrible task and i had to take a breake between the socks.

Now i walk without pain and my lungs and heart feel ok.

And riding the bike will make me even fitter. And loosing more weight will make it much better. And i am looking forward, that feels good.

I could think about that i was down to 112 kg already and did gain weight up to 150 again, that was not good but thats past and soon i will be under 112 kg ;-)

Update:
Today i rode the same tour as 2 day<s ago, but did add a little extra.
8,2 km in 45 min
That means 800 Meter more but 10 minutes less. Thats good i think i am very happy with it. And i am tired now.
I had no brakes, only the ones at traffic lights.
Tomorrow i will ride again if the wheater is good.

It feels good to moove so much. 15 Years ago i was a sport junkie and than i did no sports for 15 years at all. It feels good to have been started again.

I update my "diary" here and in a german bicycle forum and this helps also, ... i dont want to write one day that i didnt ride my bike for a whole week. ;-) So i keep going its a way to force myself.

Update:
I rode my bike today 7,5 km in 57 Minutes.
39min. riding, 18min. brakes.
The frist 5km i didnt need any brake than 4 or 5 brakes.
110 meter were uphill, thats whats hard for me but i am happy with 7,5km in one hour.

Tomorrow i will ride again, i think again 5-10 km, and i plan 3-4 tours like this the week. The Plan is to need less brakes from time to time and being faster. Longer tours i dont plan right now.

Anyway its fun. Only the Hill on wich i live at the end is terrible i have to push the bike but even much fitter people do that on this hill. Without that hill i would have made a second tour in the evening. ;-)

Ok, ... i realy wanted to ride my bike again today but i didnt  because of the gout.
But i did walk 2 hours through IKEA and a half hour in the supermarket. At least something. Every moovement helps. I like those shopping walks, its easy and fun and its mooving.

hugssandi:  BTW Friday = 3 weeks into my HASfit workouts.

I think i will check out those HASfit videos as well. Sound good. I can need more exercises.
Last week i had a cheat day and i gained 4 kg in only one day (surley only water) but it took me a weeek to loose it again. Now i am on 134 kg. The whole diet did slow down, maybe more moovemt helps me to loose weight faster again. Because eating less isnt possible i nearly dont eat at all ;-)
Anyway; Next goal is 125 kg than i allow myself to eat one day again and in 4 weeks from now i want to have 113 kg again. Setting goals helps me a lot when i think "i want to eat". Under 110 i will eat more and slow down becausde i know under 110 i feel good.

hugssandi:  I am amazed at the difference in my knees and how stairs don't hurt anymore!!!!!

I remember how it was after i had lost 67 kg, walking was easy again, stairs no problem, it feels sooo good to loose a lot of weight, and to remember this helps to continue the diet.

Keep doing your excercise.

@dusty-turtle thanks, dont worry my next tour will be much less km, i guess 3-4 ist good for a start.
And than slowly more distance in a shorter time. Yesterday i HAD to go that far because my roof rack didnt work.

@strumelia dont worry, i did feel bad yesterday after the first 10 km, but today i am fine
Only thing i have a gout attack, probably it was to much moovement for my foot and it was occouring already befor my bicycletour

BTW when i was about 12 i did make a tour through Denmark, from the south up to the north and back. Took a whole week, that was my longest tour. But yesterday that was harder than all other biketours in my life.

Anyway if the gout is better tomorrow i will ride my bike again, slowly and just for fun ;-)

I bought a bicycle. :-)

And yesterday i finaly got it. And i had to ride it home.
It was the first time in 30 Years that i did ride a bike.
It took me 3 hours for 15 km. I did ride 1 hour and did pause 2 hours all together.
Because of my poor fittness and my strong diet, it was very hard for me. But i made it. Took a long time but i made it.
I am very happy to have a bicycle now. A good reason to "moove more". It will help me loosing weight, it will help to get fitt again and it will be a lot of fun.

Only problem is i am living on a hill, and when i want to ride it here its very hard. But i bought a roof rack so i can transport the bike with the car to a nicer location.
And as soon as possible we will live somwhere else anyway.

I think it was a great decision to buy a bicycle. I am very happy with it and there is a song playing in my head.  ;-)

I will post updates from, time to time.
At the moment my loosing weight speed is down, but that happens, it will run again soon.
Right now i am at 15 kg lost in 12 days. I am happy with that.
Ill be back when its -20 . I hope thats in a week ;-)

Well, i have more than one health problems, bad ones, serious ones ....
but right now i am working on two of them

1. My very high weight. My goal is to loose 100 kg (200 Pounds)
And i will do this. And i will do it fast. I know!

Las Year i had 178 Kg (356 Pounds) Yes that much.
And i lost 67 Kg (134 Pounds) in less than a year. Yes that much.
But than i gained nearly 40 kg (89 Pound) again.
I couldnt do my very strong diet anymore and needed a breake and didnt find a beginning again, i did know what i do and i did know i will gain weight again but i am adictive to eat (another problem), to eat a lot and i did this on purpose for a while. On the other side i take medicine (for another health problem) wich makle me gain weight. So gainuing wweight is easy for me, lossing not. But i found 2 ways to losse weight.

So i just started again 10 days ago with 150 kg (300 pound) and already lost 14kg (28 pounds) again in those 10 days. A lot right? I am very happy about this.

I know a diet wich let me loose weight slowly and it an easy one, i made this before and lost 30 kg (60 pounds) in 1,5 years. That also will work later on to hold my weight and not gaining again.

But this time i had to losse weight fast for several reasons and several Doctors know about it and most of them think my strong and fast diet is good. So dont worry about being to fast. Its unhealthy? Yes but i need it now.

Thats ONE thing i am working on.

2.  Another one is a very long lasting deep depression (more than 10 years)
And i will go into a specialized Hospital soon, but they wouldnt take me if i would weight more than 130 kg (260 Pounds), that was the reason to losse weight so fast.

Another reason is i would be dead now if i wouldnt have lost that weight. With my highest weight of 178 (356 pounds) i was in a very bad condition and did feel near to death many times.

Well its sad but true i have more serious health problems, but right now i am working on those two, weight and depression. BUT i will succeed. I WILL.

BTW if someone is interested in my Diet just contact me. I am writing all down, what i eat, what i loose, what i am doing for wich reason, .... i take pictures and videos i comment all, and plan to put all online to help other people, to motivate and guide them to be able lossing a lot of weight too.

So my goal is, loosing 100 kg (200 pounds) fast.
And i will do it!

Ha it did feel good to tell someone abnout it.

General mountain dulcimer or music discussions

Hello

I am Andreas.
I am from Germany.
I love music. And play several Instruments. Of course a Mountain Dulcimer, but to be honest, I should practice and play much more.

My main instruments are; Guitar and Ukulele. I have several Whistles and Recorder. I have a Keyboard, a Melodica, I have a Cigar-Box-Guitar, … and I am sure I have forgotten to name some others ;-)
Some of my instruments I still have to learn at all. And as i said, my Dulcimerskills are few. I am a total beginner on this instrument.

I am the Operator of the (only) German Dulcimer Forum (www.Musik-Instrument-spielen.de/forum).
Not because I am so crazy about Dulcimer but because to first one was going to close down and there needed to be one. So I created a new one. We are very few People there but I try to make this instrument better known in Germany.

I am a User here since April 2018 when I “met” Stumelia ( https://fotmd.com/strumelia ) online while the Everything Dulcimer Forum did close down.
I offered to create a new Forum but there is THIS Forum here, … so there was no need.

I wrote and got some nice interesting messages with/from strumelia and I always planed to joind and be active here too.

Well my health condition is very bad and I spent a lot of time in hospitals and on the other side I am active in to many forums already, …. So it took me a while to say at least “Hello” here.


Well, here i am … Hello! ;-)

btw. I am a fan of online collaborations and always looking for people to play/collaborate with.
