The Virginia Dulcimer in Antiques Magazine July/August 2013

Y'all've probably seen this already, but I just learned about it and wanted to share it just in case others hadn't seen it. My local library had the magazine and copied it for me.

It is a really informative article that touches on some history that I've not read in other places that I recall, or at least all together in one place. I went back and am rereading "A Catalogue of Pre-Revival Appalachian Dulcimers," and appreciate in a new way Jean Ritchie's introduction. I guess I'll have to keep rereading stuff to see how it reads now after the new information from the article.

The images are really nice, too.
