Hi Patrick, and welcome to the wonderful world of the Friends of the Mountain Dulcimer.  It's a good place to come, spend some time, learn about the dulcimer, and to meet some good people.

Patrick: Maybe we can hook up sometime soon. I'm building some stock dulcimers right now, so I should have some soon.

I sure do like J&B Stomp, Patrick. Great, moody, backwoods feeling to it.

Patrick...The program I use for writing music is Musedit. I think TablEdit might be more popular among dulcimer players but I have been using Musedit for 10 years or more and have too many song files to change to TablEdit. I have lots of dulcimer tab files but I also have lots of music (oldtime, folk, gospel, etc.) that I input into Musedit to transpose to a good key and to format the sheet music into two pages.Dave

Hi Patrick,Thanks for your comment. My playing is nowhere near as subtle as your fingerstyle on J & B Stomp - that was beautiful !

Well it's the far side, if you are in Ohio -- pears to me, that's the near side of Parkersburg. But you can't get there from here.
