Anyone have suggestions for shipping a Dulcimer to Australia

I actually have a fellow in Australia that wants a custom dulcimer. Has anyone ever packaged and shipping one there? I have it ready to crate up and I'm wondering how customs in either US or AU will treat it because it has wood parts and will be very well wrapped, so to say.

Any experience or suggestions?
