Hello everyone

I am new to this wonderful dulcimer by 4 months, but have already played in our two nursing homes here in Antigonish, Nova Scotia, and in the local library.

The response to the dulcimer was overwhelming. The residents of the nursing homes were delighted to have me come and play for them. Sometimes it is just the company that keeps their day going, but the music lives on in their lives till the end.

I have played for the Alzheimer group and as soon asI started to sing, some would remember the words and join right in. It is certainly a rewarding experience and I would recommend anyone who plays to do the same. You will never regret it and will come away feeling so much better about yourself.

Bless you all
