Hi Atilwi, and welcome to the wonderful world of the Friends of the Mountain Dulcimer.  It's a good place to come, spend some time, learn about the dulcimer, and to meet some good people.

Welcome Atilwi to Friends of the Mountain Dulcimer. You are so correct about the dulcimer being a beautiful sounding instrument to play folksongs. I would suggest you post a new forum topic asking if any of the members here are from your area. There are many members here with whom you can connect. This is a very friendly forum with lots of experience and knowledge represented here. And all are willing to share with others. Getting that first dulcimer can be a daunting experience. I wish you well in finding just the right instrument for you.

Best wishes on your dulcimer journey.
