Hi RobinI'm very pleased with the entry level teardrop instrument they made me. It has a passive Baggs pickup in the end pin and is my work-a-day instrument. I looked on the Gila Mountain website about six months ago and couldn't tell if they still make dulcimers, which would be a pity since I thought about getting a more expensive model at some point.
