My tablature for the songs is a single line of Arabic numbers above the words. Each number refers to a fret number and a beat. If the number is underlined, it is a strong beat. If it is not underlined, it is a weak beat.
Translating my learning phrase: Run, pony= strong, weak If there are dashes after a word with numbers above them, you hold the note out for the number of dashes. Roman numerals above the Arabic numbers refer to chords which are discussed in lesson 6.
