Happy Birthday to Jean! Thank you for sharing the video of the family Christmas. Those simple times were the best in many ways.

Sorry to see the Bill Taylor tab collection is no longer available unless you are a member of the Knoxville dulcimer club. I've used it a lot in the past and am sad to have lost access to it.
Thanks for fixing that Ken. I see there is a space in my link that shouldn't be there. And thanks for the compliment on the kids. The oldest is now a freshman in college. Where did the time go?!
Here is the link to the video.

Thanks for sharing the video of Mike Clemmer. I have never had the privilege of visiting his shop, but some years ago my daughter's family happened to be vacationing in the area and had stopped to visit Mr. Clemmer's shop. A local television crew happened to be recording a program about Mike's dulcimers. After the filming was complete my young grandchildren were asked to fetch their musical instruments from their van and were invited to join in a jam. Part of this was included at the end of the film. I guess they were in the right place at the right time, and were thrilled by this special time.
Thanks for the responses and insight into this. I will tune the strings according to the meter and then just tweak it to my ear.
Hi Folks. I have a question concerning my dulcimer strings fluctuating in pitch while tuning with an app on my mobile device. Is it common for them to "go flat" while sustaining after plucking? The pitch actually moves lower then sometimes back to nearly what it should read on the meter. Is the sustain suppose to remain constant to the end? Thanks for your input.
Ken, it's good to see you back here! Thankful things are going well for you. You've been in my thoughts and prayers.
There is one other more recent one titled "Keepsake". Yes, their harmony is perfect.
I've noticed in the recent humid days we have had here where I live that my fingers don't seem to want to glide across the fretboard as easily. The fingerboard appears to be a little tacky or sticky therefore my fingers kind of drag on it. Any tips on solving this problem?
I'm looking at a used McSpadden FM12S, 1999.
