I'm sorry, I'm bad at titles; but the tune is super fun! I'm using a dulcimette stick I made a couple years ago. This is what my dulcimers look like before I put the box on, except this one I just left the box off. It's really useful for car trips. I picked the title just because I wrote this a couple days before getting back to work, which involves a lot of mowing.
There was no major inspiration for this tune, I was just messing around and stumbled across the first six notes of the tune, and that was enough to get me going. I hope you enjoy it! I like it because it really sounds like it could be an Irish jig.

That's a good jig and a cool instrument.
Incredible! You never cease to amaze me, Grant.
Well first of all, that's a cool tune. Secondly, it's amazing that it sounds so decent even without a box. Have you experimented by putting in on the dining room table or resting it on a styrofoam cooler, or a maple toy box, or whatever? I would think it would be fun to look around the house for different ways to amplify the sound.
Thanks! Yes it's fun to experiment putting it on different surfaces. Tables work well, styrofoam coolers are okay. The best I've found so far is a pizza box, and that works even if there's still pizza in it;)

This is just doggone cool, Grant.
