measure spacing in Tabledit

Can any of you more experienced with Tabledit than I explain how to change the spacing of measures? The default seems to be for measures with few notes (like a lone whole note) to be displayed smaller than another measure with 8 eighth notes, for example. But for most of my tab I would like equal spacing with four measures per line. I think it is easier to see the patterns in musical form that way.

Any help?
