Yes, I am brand new to the dulcimer, and have very little musical experience, but I just love it! Lot's of learning to do, and I know that my timing is not very good, but I love learning new things and hopefully will improve as I do along.
Wayfaring stranger is a favorite of mine Cynthia, and I'll definitely give it a try. I have been playing in DAd, this was my first try at another tuning. Love the sound of DAc.
If you want to add a third one to these two aeolian tunes, Wayfaring Stranger goes great with them. Pretty sure you can pick it up by ear. Can't wait until you get into the mixolydian tunes.

But thanks again for the encouragement.
Sounds great, Jeff! I think you're a natural!
Thank You Cynthia and Robin.

You've got a great strum-- the bread and butter of playing-- and your Shady Grove is downright cool!
