Utterly faded label --- suggestions?
I have a very interesting and very playable old mountain dulcimer that I want to bring to market soon. There's a hand-written label in the instrument (inside back panel) that, after brushing away all the dust that I could, is virtually unreadable. The date is clear -- 1946 -- and it opens with the words "made for Robert". But even using my fancy Norwegian LED magnifier and my best reading glasses, I cannot decipher any more.
