Thank you so much for posting this song - I thought others might like the words as well. I want you to know that I will be teaching this hymn to the very tiny congregation in a tiny village in Vermont when their piano player cannot come and do the music some Sunday. I played it for one of the members yesterday, on acoustic guitar and he loved it. This is now one of my precious songs as well. Grateful in Vermont.
Am so blessed just knowing others are able to use the songs I have been transposing for use with the dulcimer. I included the Chords with the song, I play the melody line, so I don't use them. I have a friend that plays the song with us on a guitar from time to time, so glad it works for you.
Most of my songs that I have, are songs I have collected over the years. They are songs which I have spent in personal worship of our Lord. I have found playing for the Lord on the dulcimer, is a special way in which I can come before Him and worship in a way that for those that do not play is not available.

O let the Son of God enfold you with His Spirit and His love,
Let him fill your heart and satisfy your soul.
Let Him have the things that hold you, and His Spirit like a dove,
Will descend upon your life and make you whole.
Jesus o Jesus, come and fill your lamb. (2x)
O come and sing this song with gladness as your hearts are filled with joy
Lift your hands in brave surrender to His Name
O give Him all your tears and sadness give Him all your years of pain,
And you'll enter into life in Jesus' name.
Yes, most beautiful lyrics for sure. I first started playing this song in the very early 90's. It was one of the first song I really learned to play on the dulcimer. I just love the message and the melody was so sweet.
Dec. 24, 22. This is the day your video will get a thousand views. 9º in Vermont after 4" of raining and slushing. Since you like the old songs, contact Bobby Ratliff on here and see if you can buy his CD. It will not disappoint. Not sure what name he's under currently on here, may be something to do with pigs. It's the season to open our hearts more and be grateful, isn't it?
Thanks you so much. That is ok, it was -21 here in Cheyenne last week. Yikes, hoping for an early spring.

Just what I needed this morning, and it was fun singing along in harmony with you!
Bless your heart, I have a small dulcimer group from our church where we play some of the older stuff. Somehow, the new music to me, just doesn't play well on the dulcimer.
Beautifully played. I remember this song from back in the 70s but haven't heard it for many years. Thanks for sharing it.
Thank you so much for your comments. I love all those old songs, LOL, I call them "hippie" songs. It is so wonderful to be with the Lord and the dulcimer!

Thank you for sharing this lovely hymn!
Your singing and playing were both beautiful and I love your dulcimer style!
Thank you so much for your comment. I always say in jest, I am an old Baptist, I don't sing purrty....but I always sing loud.

Most beautiful. Thank you for sharing.
The time I spend with my dulcimer singing praise to the Lord can never be explained, personal praise and worship is so necessary in life.
