I'm admiring your technique.Hammer ons and pull offs I think.I find most Irish and Canadian tunes(jigs,reels) very difficult to play with each note being individually picked or plucked...even when possible it usually loses the flow of the tune.Your playing seems to emulate the fiddle(playing two or notes with the same direction)...and you get the phrasing.
