The dulcimer itself is a gem, by far the best Gibson I ever handled.

I saw this item on Ebay and especially like your description of the case: " this instrument comes with a cheap, flimsy black nylon case, produced in some miserable Chinese factory by underpaid, disenfranchised labour."

Well, at least the dulcimer was built by a middle-class, American luthier.
