We used to sing this one in West Georgia in the 1950s, and I still love it. It's from William Walker's Southern Harmony , a shape-note songbook published in 1835.

 

 It's pentatonic, played melody-drone in the key of E on a Jerry Rockwell YAM strung with 0.010" strings straight across and tuned EBB.It has the tangled history and provenance typical of Sacred Harp songs. Hope you have a great Sunday!Ken
