Anybody else here tried playing songs from this?  One of the most famous medieval music manuscripts, made in about 1399, 10 songs.  I first heard some of them years ago on various recordings, then I discovered this concert video with the great Jordi Savall that I've watched countless times:

Alas, no mountain dulcimers, but it does have cornett, flute, harp, sackbut and many other kinds of musick.  winker   There are other renditions of individual songs I might choose over some of these but on the whole it's phenomenal.

Recently I've started picking out some tunes from the book.  I'm making progress on "Cuncti simus concanentes" and "Ad mortem festinamus."  Still need to figure out what's going on with the tuning on "Stella Splendens."
