Die Schwedische Hummel

A while back a friend shared a pdf of this monograph. In 1952 Stig Wallin wrote and published this under the auspices of the Nordic Museum in Stockholm. As an academic study it is written in German. I undertook the task of translating it into English after not being about to find an English translation. I obtained permission from the Nordic Museum to do this and share it with friends and colleagues. The original version I had to work from is missing pages 50 and 51. I was not able to find a complete book or someone who could send me copies of those pages, so they are missing from my translation. It might be helpful to have a copy of the original version (even if you don't read and understand German) to see how I handled things. If you download it and find any mistakes, please let me know and I will make corrections.
