DAD or DAA for beginners?
Some of us in my local club have been wondering which tuning, DAA or DAD is more commonly used these days for introducing NEW players to the dulcimer. If you teach beginners, either in private lessons or workshops/classes at festivals, OR if you organize festivals and know about such classes, could you please post something about which tuning you most commonly use (or see being used)? Many thanks.
I know that there are good reasons to "justify"either one. At this point, I'm really just curious about which is more commonly used.
