I am a novice Dulcimer player living in rural Alaska.  I was touched by the sweet music of the dulcimer this fall when visiting Oregon Flock and Fiber Festival in Canby, Oregon. A kind vendor invited me to try out a cigar box dulcimer they were selling in their booth. As they say the rest is history. I play Mandolin and love the sound of mountain music. My favorite places to play are at home in our log house or better yet at our cabin on a remote lake. I can't wait to try out the dulcimer there next summer at the cabin and hear the songs echo across our cove. I am thrilled to be invited to join FOTMD. I know I have a lot to learn.

Sincerely, Marjorie Bellringer
