Hi Debi, and welcome to the wonderful world of the Friends of the Mountain Dulcimer. It's a good place to come, spend some time, learn about the dulcimer, and to meet some good people.

Welcome Debi. I bet you will find other dulcimer players on Long Island. There is one club here in Vermont and it is an hour away. You can learn a lot watching these videos here and reading and searching all sorts of things. Best luck to you with your new joy.
