Welcome Actionsub to Friends of the Mountain Dulcimer. This site is rich in the history of the mountain dulcimer with a number of members who are living history books. Please ask questions and we'll go our best to get you an answer.
Hi Actionsub, and welcome to the wonderful world of the Friends of the Mountain Dulcimer. It's a good place to come, spend some time, learn about the dulcimer, and to meet some good people.
Welcome to FOTMD, Actionsub. It's good to have you aboard. We can help you learn about the mountain dulcimer. Read through some of the discussions here. Ask questions. We will try to answer them. We have a dedicated group of dulcimer enthusiasts knowledgable in dulcimer history and playing styles. I do have a fair knowledge of autoharp history and am willing to share what I know. Again, ask a question and I will provide an answer. If I don't know, it probably will know someone who does. When it was in circulation I wrote a few articles for Autoharp Quarterly. I look forward to you participation here.
