I’ve been play Appalachian dulcimer since the early 70’s. I am one who uses a fiddlestick (noter) and a goose feather. The picture shows an old dulcimer that a friend carved a goose for the head stock and then made geese using old piano keys. I mostly play a Fellenbaum and recenty acquired a Beard with butternut wood! I play a lot for school children using the Dulcimer to play Name that tune. I also play guitars , ukuleles, and sing!
