Thank you. I purchased this Dulcimer from a wonderful player named Stephen Kenney. I really had to search to find anything on the maker, the late Milford Blevins. I asked my friend how the extra string slots were intended to be tuned, but he wasn’t sure.

It’s a large body, but lightweight. I decided to tune it DAD, with a drop A and several drop D strings for added octaves and resonance. I also cut an additional sound port (circular hole) for improved sound. It seemed that it was somewhat trapped in the body.
